About this course
One of the hardest parts of being the skipper is to have the skills and confidence in close quarters situations.
This course is aimed at the new boat owner or someone who wishes to learn new techniques and brush up on their marina and berthing skills.
If you have ever had trouble parking, get into a tight area with wind and/or tide then you know what this course is all about. We will teach you simple effective techniques to evaluate and effectively manoeuvre the boat to where you want it to be.
Draw on our experienced instructors skills and knowledge and find out what a boat really can do and what it can’t.

Our office is located at The Mooloolaba Marina on Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba just an hour north of Brisbane. There’s ample parking. Click HERE to see a map. The location can be accessed from 33-45 Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba.
The course cost is $295pp or $595 own boat,.Please note a minimum 25% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance to be paid prior to the course commencing.
